Forerunners in Research and Innovations

Venus, at its core, is a company that focuses mainly on research and bringing in innovations in the field of pharma. Our medicine research centres are well equipped with GLP (Good Lab Practices) certified labs. We are equipped with state-of-the-art lab equipment in our labs to ensure the best of results come out of each of our focus areas. 

Our primary research interests lie in the areas of Herbal Medicine, Oncology, Cardiology, And Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR). With our primary focus on combating AMR, we are filling our research pipeline with novel solutions to some of the world's most pressing and challenging healthcare concerns.

We added four new technologies during FY 21, including Hollow Fiber models and India's first dedicated Organ-on-a-Chip (OoC) laboratory. Our Hollow Fiber technology and Fiber Infection Model can provide essential data for antibiotic development and dosage by delivering higher degrees of reproducible control of both concentration and drug exposure time in complex growth, infection, treatment, and sampling regimens.

Venus Remedies has won the UBM India Pharma Award in the Excellence in Product Development category for its flagship product, Elores. Elores is a novel antibiotic adjuvant substance that effectively resists major hospital-acquired infections. 

Delivering Cures to the World

With our presence in more than 70 countries around the world, Venus helps get medicine to people all over the world through our global infrastructure. With 150+ product manufacturers, three production units, nine manufacturing units and 20+ Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) approvals, we have put ourselves at the top of the global pharmaceutical infrastructure by providing healthcare solutions around the world. The jewel on this crown is our German Pharma Gmbh manufacturing unit, which is leading our operations in Europe.

In 2022 we received the Good Distribution Practices from SGS France, recognising our efforts in product safety and quality during distribution. It is distributed to pharmaceutical companies that demonstrate dedication to good distribution practices and quality in every aspect of their service. When it comes to the pharmaceutical industry, SGS is the gold standard for certifications.
